|||| Star and Saturn Girl are teammates and sparring partners. Starfire has discovered a new power where a darker, but more powerful her [Blackfire] takes over and they’re working together to try and control it. |||| Blackfire takes over and sends Saturn Girl to the hospital. SG is told this and can’t believe it happened, they were making such great progress. |||| Starfire wakes up and finds out that she’s done that and cries and can’t believe it either, freaking out and then flashbacking and remembering it happening. |||| Starfire is so upset she tries to run away, but Saturn Girl finds her and says they can still be friends, they just can’t spar together anymore. |||| Soon enough Saturn Girl notices that Blackfire is taking over Starfire’s regular life, not just her fighting life, and realizes, sadly, that she has to use her mind powers on Starfire to destroy Blackfire. |||| When SG tries to do this, Blackfire once again takes over and fights back, killing Saturn Girl.
