1. bb’s parents died when he was really young [obv not that young but still] and he practically grew up in the jungle! and zoos are close enough

2. cys dad was never around to support his love for sports and playing football [he said “catch, dad!”] and so its like that toaster wouldve been a better parent cuz at least it spent time with him before his accident
